Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using NotiSift ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. These Terms apply to the free tier and the Pro tier of NotiSift. Where a provision applies only to Pro users, it will be stated explicitly.

NotiSift is an Android application that intercepts, scores, and suppresses notifications during user-defined focus sessions. The App processes your notifications entirely on-device. Core functionality includes: • On-device notification scoring (0–100) using heuristic and learned behavioral signals • Suppression of low-priority notifications during active focus sessions • Delivery of suppressed notifications as a grouped digest when sessions end • Optional keyword rules and per-app threshold overrides (Pro) The free tier is provided at no charge, indefinitely, with the feature set described on our website. Pro features are unlocked via a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play.

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use NotiSift. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent.

Subject to these Terms, NotiSift grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not: • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the App or any part of it • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where permitted by applicable law • Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App • Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations

NotiSift Pro is available as a one-time lifetime in-app purchase ("Lifetime Pro") through the Google Play Store. The purchase price is displayed in the Play Store at the time of purchase and may vary by region. Payment: All payments are processed by Google Play Billing. NotiSift does not receive or store your payment information. Refunds: Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy. You may request a refund from Google within the applicable window (typically 48 hours of purchase). After that window, refund requests may be submitted to us at sai.bsk1@gmail.com and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. No subscription: Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase. There are no recurring charges. Future feature additions to the Pro tier will be provided at no additional cost during the lifetime of the App.

You agree not to use NotiSift to: • Violate any local, national, or international law or regulation • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers or networks connected to the App • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App • Use the App in any way that could harm, disable, or impair other users NotiSift is a personal productivity tool intended for individual, non-commercial use. Commercial resale or redistribution of the App is not permitted.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that: • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs • Notification suppression will be 100% accurate — some notifications may pass through or be suppressed contrary to your expectations • The App will function correctly on all Android devices, versions, or in all regional variants You acknowledge that notification behavior on Android is subject to OEM modifications (e.g., Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus battery optimization) which may affect the App's ability to operate in the background. These are platform constraints outside NotiSift's control.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NOTISIFT AND ITS CREATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. IN NO EVENT SHALL NOTISIFT'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRO LICENSE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $10.00 IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PURCHASE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

The App, including its code, design, scoring algorithms, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by NotiSift and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you. The NotiSift name and logo are trademarks of NotiSift. You may not use them without prior written permission.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling NotiSift permanently deletes all locally stored data (notifications, learned weights, schedules, rules). We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App if you violate these Terms. Pro purchasers whose access is terminated for cause are not entitled to a refund.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the version date below and may provide notice via the App on next launch. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, your remedy is to stop using the App and uninstall it.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts.
